My Favourite Childhood Memories
That was one fine day in 2001. All my family members were excited to welcome my little sister to this world. Yes, she was born then. I, being the momma’s girl was so eager to see mom after a long time because I had not visited her for almost a couple of days since she was admitted to the hospital. That was The first time I got separated from my mother. When my little sister was born, everyone was happy to welcome her that they almost did not bother to notice me. Even at the hospital, I went straight to my mom. I never had the urge to receive my sister. I saw her only after mom was discharged and brought home. I really could forget that. I laugh at myself now for being so craggy.
The next one happened during my admission to Kindergarten. I was informed that I never cried while going to school, unlike other kids. I don’t remember crying either. During my first day at KG, I was accompanied by my father. We went to the class too early that I got the chance to enter the class first. The class was entirely deserted.

I ran fast to the classroom, climbed the writing desk, and sat over it. I bent towards the sitting bench and asked my dad “This is very uncomfortable. I don't want to sit like this. My back will ache”. Then my dad corrected me by making me take the sitting bench and directing to keep my notebook over the writing bench. I can’t forget this moment.
One interesting incident I remember. My granny’s place was a roof house while I was around 5 years old. There was no proper current supply, no water facilities. So, my grandparents used to fill water in a huge drum by means of fetching water through a motor bore well. This large drum was placed near the shelf which had snacks tin. When no one was around, I climbed over the drum to reach the top shelf since the snacks tin was shifted there.

I missed noticing the lid of the drum was not properly seated. Only after climbing the drum, I sensed that already my feet were touching the water in the half-filled drum. I screamed and yelled. There came my parents running to reach me out. That was the first and last time I did this kind of
mischiefs;)
