How Is The Lockdown situation in Madurai

I haven’t stepped out of my home since the curfew announcement. But, the day before the announcement of 21day lockdown, my parents went to purchase the provisions. They came home saying that the police standing in the corner of the street caught all the people roaming around including my mom and dad. And, it seems he scolded everyone for being irresponsible. After giving proper reasons, the police warned the people not to step out and left them itseems.

Also, I usually feed the crows ( I believe my grandpa comes to eat who passed away recently) before taking my food. For the past week, I can’t see a single soul into the streets.

And as informed by my parents, no shop is opened except for the vegetable stores that too they are opened only for 2 hours from 8am till 10 am.

Policemen are always on duty be it day or night.

Entire area is deserted that you find only stray dogs into the street. Even those hoomans go clueless because of the unusual hush.

So yes, I think my area in Madurai is very responsible and are indeed following the rules.
